The Quad LNB has 4 outputs and can be hooked directly from the Dish 500 to feed up to four receivers respectively, no "external" switches are required.
The Legacy Quad LNB will work with all of DISH Network's receivers including DP receivers and non DP receivers (Legacy) but will not work with the DP 34 switch if you plan to upgrade to 5 or 6 tuners.
This is the way to go for your expanded 3 or 4 Receiver system. Has built in SW-44 switch and two dual LNBs so it's strickly a bolt on installation. No tedious jumper coaxes to make plus the connectors are all out of the weather making it less likely to need service. There are four outputs which need to go directly 1 to each receiver.
The Legacy Quad LNB is similar to the Legacy Twin, except that it has four outputs for up to 4 receivers. With SW21 switches, the Legacy Quad will support 61.5 or 145 on up to two of the receivers (the DISH 300 LNB only has two outputs). The Legacy Quad may also be configured as follows: With an SW64 switch, the Quad will support up to four receivers on 119, 110, and either 61.5 or 145.
Note: Due to short supply on this item, we occasionally have to substitute a factory refurbished product, however, it is covered by the same manufacturers warranty.
