The switch has two input ports, one from each LNBF/dish. One output leads to the satellite receiver which controls the switch with alternating voltage, running through the coaxial cable.
The 2X1 DiSEqC switch will enable the user to select between 2 different LNBs of any type, Universal or Single, using the DiSEqC commands. The 2 inputs ports marked LNB 1 and 2 are connected to the 2 LNBs, which may be on 2 different dishes, and the output marked RX is connected to the Receiver. The receiver must be equipped with DiSEqC Command. Selection of the LNBs is done by choosing the appropriate DiSEqC command in the receiver menu system
